What is Chitzy? ›
Chitzy is an anonymous messaging app where people send you honest, fun, or sweet messages — without revealing who they are. Share your Chitzy link and start receiving messages!
How do I share my Chitzy link? ›
Go to the Share tab at the bottom of the app. Tap the share button to copy your link or send it directly to friends via WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other app.
Is my phone number visible to others? ›
No. Your phone number is only used for login verification and is never shown to other users, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone. People only see your Chitzy name.
Can I sign in with Google or Apple? ›
Yes! You can sign in with Google or Apple instead of a phone number. Just tap the Google or Apple button on the login screen. Your email is only used to create your account and is never shown to other users.
Messages
Can I find out who sent me a message? ›
Messages are anonymous by design. Tap the 👁 hint button on any revealed message. Free users watch a short ad to see the sender's city and state. Pro users instantly see the sender's school, college, or workplace — no ad needed. The sender's full identity is never revealed.
What does the ❤️ button do? ›
Tapping ❤️ on a revealed message sends an anonymous reaction to the sender. They'll get notified that their message was loved — but won't know it was you who reacted.
How many messages can I send per day? ›
Free users get 3 free sends per day. After that, each additional send requires watching a short ad. Your daily count resets at midnight. Chitzy Pro users have unlimited sends with no ads or restrictions.
Can I delete messages? ›
Currently messages cannot be individually deleted. If you receive harmful or inappropriate content, please report it to us at support@chitzy.in with a screenshot.
Streaks
How do I build a streak? ›
Send at least one message or post a drop on the Trending tab every day to build your streak. Only 1 streak point per day regardless of how many messages or drops you post. Miss a day and your streak resets — unless you use a freeze.
What are streak freezes? ›
A freeze protects your streak when you miss a day. You earn +1 freeze at every 7-day streak milestone. Free users can hold up to 3 freezes max; Pro users up to 7 freezes max. Miss a day with a freeze and it's used automatically — streak continues. Miss a day with 0 freezes and your streak resets.
What are streak milestones? ›
Rewards unlock as you hit streaks: 7 days (+1 freeze), 100 days (1 month Pro free!), 200 days (2 months Pro free), 300 days (3 months Pro), 500 days (6 months Pro), and 1000 days (Pro forever). The longer your streak, the bigger the reward.
Chitzy Pro
What does Chitzy Pro include? ›
Pro gives you: unlimited sends (free gets 3/day then needs an ad), instant hints with no ads (free must watch an ad per hint), school/college/workplace hints (free only gets city + state), Pro badge on your profile, and up to 7 streak freezes (free: 3 max). Plans start at ₹40/month or ₹299/year on Android (save 38%), ₹49/month or ₹399/year on iOS.
How do I upgrade to Pro? ›
Go to your Profile → tap "Upgrade to Pro". Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. Your Pro status activates instantly after payment.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription? ›
Email us at support@chitzy.in with your registered phone number and we'll cancel your subscription and process any eligible refund within 2 business days.
Safety & Moderation
What kind of messages are not allowed? ›
Chitzy does not allow messages that contain hate speech, racism, colorism, body shaming, sexual content, threats, harassment, or slurs in any language. Every custom message is automatically checked before it reaches the recipient.
How does message moderation work? ›
Every custom message goes through two layers of automated checks: a real-time blocklist covering offensive words in 30+ languages, followed by an AI content review (powered by OpenAI) that detects hate, harassment, body shaming, and more. Messages that fail either check are blocked before delivery.
What happens if I send offensive messages? ›
Each blocked message counts as a warning strike. Free users are blocked from sending for 24 hours after 5 strikes; Pro users after 10. Strikes reset at midnight each day. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.
I was blocked but my message wasn't offensive. What do I do? ›
Automated systems can occasionally make mistakes. If you believe you were blocked in error, email us at support@chitzy.in with the message text and we'll review it manually. If it was a false positive, we'll clear your block immediately.
I was suspended by a report. Can I appeal? ›
Yes. If you believe a report against you was unfair, email support@chitzy.in with your Chitzy name and the details. Our moderation team will review the original report and respond within 48 hours. If the suspension was incorrect, it will be lifted immediately.
How do I report a message? ›
Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any message in your inbox and select "Report". The message will immediately be hidden from your inbox and sent to our moderation team for review. You can also email support@chitzy.in with a screenshot if you need further help.
What happens after I report a message? ›
The message is instantly hidden from your inbox. Our moderation team reviews every report manually and takes action within 24 hours. Depending on severity, the sender may receive a temporary block (3–30 days) or a permanent account suspension. If multiple users report the same person, our system can automatically block them.
How do I report harmful content I received? ›
Use the in-app report button (⋯ → Report) on any message. For urgent or serious cases, you can also email support@chitzy.in with a screenshot. We take all reports seriously and act within 24 hours. In severe cases the sender's account will be suspended.
Account & Privacy
How do I change my Chitzy name? ›
Go to Profile → tap your name or the edit button. Note: Chitzy names can only be changed once every 30 days.
How do I delete my account? ›
You can delete your account directly from the app: go to Profile → scroll down → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data including messages, streak, and profile — immediately. Alternatively, email support@chitzy.in with subject "Delete my account" and we'll process it within 30 days.
How do I turn off notifications? ›
Go to Profile → Settings. You can individually toggle off notifications for new messages, reactions, and streak reminders.
